Is my birth data safe?
Yes — it never leaves your phone. Your chart is computed entirely on-device; anything the app sends is derived geometry (signs, houses, aspects), which can't be reversed into a birth date, time, or place. No analytics, no ads, no trackers. The full detail is in the privacy policy.
I don't know my birth time.
Turn on “birth time unknown” and Aphrodite casts a solar chart — no houses or angles, but your planets, aspects, and matching all still work. Features that genuinely need an exact time will say so rather than guess.
What's free, and what's Gold?
Free: your full chart in Placidus or whole-sign houses, every aspect and dignity, tap-anything exploration, today's transits, the almanac, the oracle (20 questions a day), the houses, synastry for any pairing, and your top three matches.
Aphrodite Gold — $9.99 a month or $79.99 a year — adds the full written reading, progressions, returns and life cycles, the shadow map, the astro map, the year-ahead timeline, transit alerts, a 100-question oracle, and the whole ranked discover list.
A Deep-Dive — $9.99, once per pairing — unlocks the composite and Davison charts and the written pair reading for that pairing forever. Gold includes it.
How do payments and refunds work?
Everything runs through Apple — we never see payment details. Manage or cancel the subscription in your Apple ID settings; request refunds through Apple. “Restore purchases” in Settings brings entitlements back on any device, and Sign in with Apple carries them across devices.
Do I lose my readings if I unsubscribe?
No. A reading is generated once and is yours after that — anything already written stays readable forever, subscription or not.
Is the astrologer real?
The math is real; the writer is an AI. Your chart is computed by our own engine, validated against reference ephemerides — then Claude, by Anthropic, writes the reading from that geometry, citing the placement behind every sentence. It's labeled as AI wherever it appears, and it's reflective entertainment — never medical, legal, or financial advice.
How do I delete everything?
Settings → Data → “Erase everything on this device” wipes all local data instantly. Settings → Account → “Delete account” removes the account, its device links, entitlements, and cached readings from our servers. Leaving the Circle deletes your matching profile the moment you tap it.
Who can use Aphrodite?
Adults only — 18 and up, everywhere in the app, enforced at entry and on our servers.
